Diana's current health is good. (That can change quickly though. To date there have been no more comas--since last month!) She is excited about the possibility of coming to the US.
Diana was issued a passport earlier this month. One of the RBS nurses was selected as an escort for Diana. Because the orphanage would be understaffed due to her absense, the nurse must immediately (within a day or so of arrival) return to Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan requires that a Kazakh citizen be appointed Diana's guardian and stay with her the entire time. Sveta was approved to be Diana's guardian.
All three will travel to Astana in the next few days to request visas. They have an appointment at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31st. (Tuesday evening US time!) Please pray that ALL THREE will be issued a visa! All three must be issued a visa for Diana to come to the US for medical treatment.
They should know by 11 a.m. Wednesday whether or not they will be issued visas. Visas would be issued the next day. Then sometime in November (the sooner the better!) Diana could be on her way to the USA! (Texas!)
We will update the blog when we hear news!
